Italian Creme Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 stick oleo
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. Crisco
5 egg yolks
2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 small can coconut
1/2 c. pecans
5 egg whites, beaten stiff
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cream oleo and Crisco until lite cream.
Add sugar gradually. Add egg yolks and beat well.
Add flour and soda (which have been sifted togehter) alternately with buttermilk.
Stir in vanilla, coconut and pecans.
Fold in egg whites.
Bake in 3 greased and floured pans at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
