Refrigerator Cabbage Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large head cabbage, chopped
    1/2 Tbsp. salt
    1 carrot, chopped
    1 onion, chopped
    1 green pepper, chopped
    1 stalk celery, chopped
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. vinegar
    1/2 c. water
    1/2 tsp. celery seed
    1/2 tsp. mustard seed
Preparation
    Put salt over cabbage and let stand.
    Boil the sugar, vinegar, water and seeds together for 2 minutes.
    When boiled mixture cools, pour over cabbage and vegetables.
    Mix.
    Keeps in refrigerator a month and makes a 1/2 gallon of slaw.
