Venison Stroganoff - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 to 2 lb. venison
    1 c. butter or margarine
    2 lb. onions, finely chopped
    1 can tomato soup
    1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 c. mushroom steak sauce or 1 lb. mushrooms
    2 tsp. dark molasses
    1 c. sour cream
Preparation
    Cut meat into very thin strips or cubes.
    Trim off excess fat. Brown meat in butter.
    Add onions.
