Dutch Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/3 c. milk
    3 Tbsp. melted butter
    1/4 tsp. lemon extract
    1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
    2 or 3 cooking apples, pared, cored and sliced thick
    1/4 c. sugar, mixed with 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    2 Tbsp. raisins
Preparation
    Grease an 8-inch square cake pan.
    Beat the egg and add sugar, while beating.
    Sift flour, baking powder and salt.
    Add to egg mixture, then add milk, melted butter or margarine, lemon extract and vanilla.
    Put in greased pan.
