Champagne Raisin Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. raisins
    1 c. white wine
    1/2 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. cloves
    1/4 tsp. cinnamon
    2 tsp. cornstarch
Preparation
    Cover raisins with 1/2 wine and simmer 5 minutes.
    Add sugar, butter, seasonings and cornstarch, dissolved with 1/2 cup wine. Stir until thickened.
    Serve hot.
    Serves 5 to 6.
