Corn Fritters - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 egg
1 Tbsp. shortening, melted
1/2 c. milk
1 1/2 c. whole kernel corn, cooked
hot oil (Wesson or Crisco)
Preparation

Combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
Stir in egg, shortening, milk and corn, mixing well.
Drop by tablespoons into hot oil heated at 375\u00b0.
Fry until golden (about 4 minutes), turning once.
Drain on paper towels.
Makes about 2 dozen.
