Chocolate Covered Cherries - cooking recipe
Ingredients

60 maraschino cherries (two 12 oz. jars)
3 Tbsp. butter
3 Tbsp. light corn syrup
2 c. sifted powdered sugar
1 lb. dipping chocolate
Preparation

Drain cherries; mix sugar, butter and syrup.
Knead mixture until smooth.
Shape about 1/2 teaspoon mixture around each cherry.
Place covered cherries on a cookie sheet lined with wax paper.
Chill until firm.
Melt chocolate.
Dip covered cherries into chocolate mixture.
