Hungarian Potato Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/4 lb. potatoes
1 Tbsp. butter
1 c. chopped onion
4 c. boiling water
4 chicken bouillon cubes
2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
1/2 lb. smoked sausage, cubed
salt and pepper
Preparation

Peel potatoes and cut into cubes.
Set aside.
In large saucepan, melt butter.
Add onion and saute 5 minutes.
Add potatoes, water and bouillon.
Cover; bring to a boil.
Reduce heat to medium and cook until potatoes are tender.
Pour contents of saucepan into container of electric blender.
Holding lid on securely, blend until smooth.
Return to saucepan.
Add remaining ingredients.
Heat through.
Makes about 6 cups.
