Savannah Red Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 lb. bacon
    2 c. raw rice
    1 c. red tomatoes
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    3 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/8 tsp. Tabasco
Preparation
    Fry bacon dry; remove from pan.
    Saute onion in bacon drippings; add other ingredients.
    Cook on top of stove 10 minutes.
    Pour into casserole dish, covered, and bake approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Serves 8.
