Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. squash
    1 medium onion
    1 egg
    1/2 c. cheese, grated
    1/2 ??? mayonnaise
    1 tsp. sugar
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Cook squash and onion, drain, then beat lightly with mixer. Add egg and season.
    Combine with mayonnaise and cheese.
    Pour into buttered casserole and top with seasoned bread crumbs.
    Bake in medium oven 1/2 hour until bubbly.
