Peas With Water Chestnuts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 (10 oz. size) pkg. frozen peas
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 c. boiling water
    2 (5 oz.) cans water chestnuts, thinly sliced
    1 Tbsp. finely chopped fresh mint leaves or 1 1/2 tsp. dried mint leaves
    1/4 c. Grand Marnier
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Add peas and sugar to boiling water in a large saucepan. Bring to boiling, gently separating peas with a fork.
    Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 5 minutes.
    Drain peas.
    Add remaining ingredients and toss lightly to mix well.
    Reheat gently.
    Makes 12 servings.
