Scalloped Eggplant - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large eggplant
    1 c. buttered bread crumbs
    1 c. white sauce
    grated cheese
Preparation
    Pare eggplant, cut in 1/4-inch slices.
    Cook in salted water until tender, drain. Into 1-quart baking dish put a layer of eggplant, then a layer of white sauce, then a layer of buttered bread crumbs.
    Do this until ingredients are used up.
    Sprinkle grated cheese on top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
    Serve hot.
