Ingredients

ahi (tuna) fillets
garlic salt
bacon drippings
Preparation

Slice the ahi fillets into 2-inch steaks.
Sprinkle with garlic salt and let sit for 10 minutes.
Put bacon drippings into a frypan and heat.
When pan and drippings are hot, put in the ahi steaks.
Allow enough time to cook the fish through, without overcooking.
Overcooking will result in dry fish.
Serve the fish on a bed of lettuce.
