Ingredients

1 lb. beef steak or top round
2/3 c. water
2 Tbsp. Chinese rice wine or dry white wine
2 Tbsp. soy sauce
4 tsp. cornstarch
1 tsp. sesame oil (optional)
1 Tbsp. cooking oil
2 tsp. grated ginger root
2 carrots, thinly sliced
6 green onions, bias sliced into 1 inch lengths
2 small tomatoes, each cut into 8 wedges
hot cooked rice
Preparation

Partially freeze beef.
Thinly slice across grain into bite-size pieces; set aside.
