Ingredients

1 c. tart berries
2/3 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 whole cinnamon stick (optional)
Preparation

In pan, combine berries, sugar, lemon juice and cinnamon.
Over brisk fire, boil fruit, stirring until it reaches desired thickness.
Serve warm or cooled.
Makes 1 1/4 cups to put on pancakes or spread on campfire biscuits.
