Grandma Church'S Wonderful Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    14 1/2 oz. can evaporated milk
    4 1/2 c. white sugar
    1/2 lb. marshmallows
    2 oz. unsweetened chocolate
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
    3 (4 oz.) bars sweet chocolate
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    2 c. chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)
Preparation
    Stir together in a large heavy pot or Dutch oven, over moderate heat, the butter, canned milk and sugar.
    Bring to a boil.
    Cover. Boil 5 minutes and turn off heat.
    Add marshmallows and stir until melted.
    Add the chocolate, one kind at a time, stirring as it melts.
    Add vanilla and nuts.
    Blend.
    Pour into a buttered 10 x 15-inch jelly roll pan and smooth evenly. Let stand until firm, then cut into 1-inch squares.
