Ingredients

6 1/2 c. flour, divided
3 Tbsp. sugar
2 Tbsp. dry yeast
1 Tbsp. salt
2 1/2 c. hot tap water
corn meal
1 egg white with 1 Tbsp. water
Preparation

Mix 2 cups flour, sugar, yeast and salt in a large bowl.
Add hot tap water gradually, beating on low speed for 2 minutes.
Add margarine and 2 cups flour, beating for 2 minutes on medium speed. Mix in 2 1/2 to 3 cups flour on medium speed to make a soft dough. Mix well from the bottom of the bowl with a spoon.
Cover, let rise for 45 minutes in a warm place, or until double in bulk.
