Cheese Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sifted flour
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. shortening
    1/3 c. grated sharp cheese
    3/4 c. milk
Preparation
    Mix flour, baking powder and salt in a bowl.
    Cut shortening into flour mixture with blender or fork until the mixture looks like coarse cornmeal.
    Stir in grated cheese.
    Add milk to shortening-flour mixture and mix just enough to hold dough together.
    Roll dough 1/2-inch thick.
    Cut and bake on ungreased cookie sheet, in hot oven (425\u00b0) for 12 to 15 minutes or until brown as desired.
