3 Tbsp. shortening
4 Tbsp. cream
1 c. milk, warmed
6 Tbsp. flour
1 egg yolk
Preparation

Cook

ingredients
until thick and brown. The browner
it is cooked, the more butterscotch taste it has. Mix last
three
ingredients
together;
mix
well.
Stir into first mixture stirring constantly.
Cook until thick.
Slightly cool and pour into baked pie crust.
