Shortbread Chocolate Chip Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. butter
    2 c. confectioners sugar
    2 tsp. vanilla extract
    1/2 tsp. salt
    4 1/2 c. flour
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. mini chocolate chips
    3 Tbsp. confectioners sugar (for rolling)
Preparation
    Cream butter and 2 cups of confectioners sugar.
    Beat in vanilla and salt.
    Gradually stir in flour until well blended. Stir in chocolate chips.
    Dough will be stiff.
    Shape into 1-inch balls; place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Flatten with a fork to 1 1/2-inch rounds.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes or until lightly golden.
    Remove to rack.
    While cookies are still warm, roll tops in remaining 3 tablespoons of confectioners sugar. Cool.
    Makes about 90.
