Butter Pecan Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter (not margarine or shortening)
    1/2 c. packed brown sugar
    1 egg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 3/4 c. flour
    3/4 c. powdered sugar
    1/4 tsp. soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Cream butter, brown sugar and egg.
    Add vanilla, then flour, powdered sugar, soda and salt.
    Blend in pecans.
    Drop by teaspoonfuls onto baking sheet.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly browned.
    Frost with a dab of canned sour cream white frosting and top with pecan half.
    Makes 3 dozen.
