**Apricot-Pineapple Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. orange jello
    1 (No. 2) can apricots
    1 small can crushed pineapple
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1/2 large angel food cake
    1 1/2 c. Cool Whip (small box) or 1 pkg. Dream Whip
Preparation
    Dissolve jello in one cup boiling water.
    Add sugar, salt, apricots and pineapple with juice (3/4 cup).
    Cool until thickens. Fold in Cool Whip.
    Cover bottom of 9-inch square pan with half the cake, broken in small pieces. Pour over half fruit jello mixture.
    Then another layer of cake pieces and another layer of mixture.
    Refrigerate 4 to 5 hours or overnight.
    Cut into squares.
    Serves 16.
