Sweet And Sour Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head green cabbage, cut into strips
    1 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. granulated sugar
    1/4 c. vinegar
    2 Tbsp. caraway seed
    water (to cover)
Preparation
    Place cabbage, salt, sugar, vinegar and caraway seed in a large saucepan.
    Cover with water; simmer for 30 minutes, until cabbage is softened.
    Serve hot.
    Makes 6 side dish servings. Preparation time:
    10 to 15 minutes.
    Cooking time:
    30 minutes.
