German Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 to 6 diced slices bacon
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1/3 c. sugar
    2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 egg
    1/4 c. vinegar
    1 c. water
    1/4 c. lemon juice
    1 qt. sliced cooked potatoes
    1/2 c. sliced onion
    1/4 c. minced parsley
    1 tsp. celery seed
Preparation
    Fry bacon until delicately browned; remove.
    Drain excess fat, reserving 1/4 cup in skillet.
    Add flour, sugar, salt and pepper; blend well.
    Beat egg slightly.
    Add vinegar, water and lemon juice.
    Add gradually to mixture in skillet; cook until thickened, stirring constantly.
    Add bacon and remaining ingredients; toss lightly.
