Squash Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 c. yellow squash, sliced
    2 c. bell pepper, chopped
    2 c. onion, chopped
    2 tsp. celery seed
    2 tsp. white mustard seed
    2 Tbsp. salt
    3 c. sugar
    2 c. vinegar
Preparation
    Combine salt, squash, onion and peppers.
    Mix sugar and vinegar in saucepan and bring to a boil.
    Add all ingredients to syrup in pan and let boil 5 minutes.
    Put in jars and seal.
    Allow 6 to 8 weeks to make.
