Cheesy Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 medium squash
    4 medium potatoes
    1 medium onion
    1 pkg. American cheese
    salt
    pepper
    water
Preparation
    Slice squash after washing.
    Also wash potatoes and slice and put in frying pan.
    Add squash and onion (sliced).
    Salt and pepper.
    Put in about 2 cups of water.
    Cover and simmer until tender; drain water and lay cheese slices on top.
    Ready to serve.
