Meat Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 deep dish pie crust, uncooked
    1/2 lb. lean ground beef
    1 lb. sausage
    1/3 c. chopped green pepper
    1 (4 oz.) can mushroom pieces, drained
    1 small onion, chopped (1/4 c.)
    3 Tbsp. water
    1 small jar spaghetti sauce
    basil to taste
    garlic powder to taste
    1/3 c. Parmesan cheese, divided
    2 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese, divided
Preparation
    Preheat oven and cookie sheet to 400\u00b0.
    Prick bottom and sides of pie shell with fork.
    Partially bake crust on cookie sheet for 8 to 10 minutes.
    Cool.
    In large skillet, brown ground beef and sausage.
    Drain well.
    Add green pepper, mushroom and onion.
    Cook 2 minutes.
    Stir in water, spaghetti sauce, basil and garlic powder and simmer 10 minutes.
    Sprinkle half of Parmesan over bottom of crust.
    Spread half of meat mixture over Parmesan cheese.
    Sprinkle 1 cup Mozzarella cheese over meat.
    Layer remaining meat and Parmesan cheese.
    Bake on cookie sheet 15 minutes.
    Sprinkle top with remaining Mozzarella cheese.
    Return to oven 5 minutes or until cheese melts.
