Hurry-Up Sausage And Bean Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 oz. fully cooked smoked sausage links, cut diagonally into 1/4-inch slices
    1 (16 oz.) can Great Northern beans, drained
    1 small onion, chopped
    1 clove garlic, crushed
    1 c. ready to serve beef broth
    1/4 c. dry sherry
    3/4 tsp. ground cumin
    1 Tbsp. chopped parsley
    lemon slices (if desired)
    sour cream (if desired)
Preparation
    Place beans, onion and garlic in food processor bowl fitted with steel blade or blender container; process until smooth, scraping bowl as necessary.
    Add broth, sherry and cumin; process until blended.
    Pour into medium saucepan.
    Cook, uncovered, for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Add sausage; cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Stir in parsley.
    Garnish with lemon and sour cream.
    Makes 2 servings each with 496 calories, 23 g fat and 56 mg cholesterol.
