Block Party Barbecue - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 lb. beef brisket
1/4 c. liquid smoke
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. minced onion
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 c. water
1 (32 oz.) bottle Heinz tomato ketchup
1 c. reserved meat juices
3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce
2 Tbsp. white vinegar
1 1/2 tsp. prepared mustard
1 1/2 tsp. celery salt
1 tsp. minced onion
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
Preparation

Put the first 7 ingredients in a roaster.
Cover and bake in a 275\u00b0 oven until fork-tender, about 5 to 6 hours.
Reserve 1 cup of meat juices.
Chill meat for easier slicing.
Remove excess fat from meat, slice thinly across grain.
