Batter Dip For Chicken Or Fish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. flour
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1/8 tsp. baking powder
    3/4 c. water
    chicken or fish, cut into 1/2-inch chunks
    hot oil for frying
Preparation
    Mix ingredients until well blended in a small bowl.
    Dip chicken or fish chunks into batter.
    Drain off excess.
    Deep fry until brown and crisp.
    Drain on paper towels.
