Meridith'S Favorite Meat Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. ground turkey
    1 lb. turkey sausage
    1 large can tomato puree (29 oz.)
    1 (12 oz.) can tomato paste
    garlic to taste, chopped (the more the better)
    2 bay leaves
    2 tsp. basil
    pepper and salt
Preparation
    Saute garlic in small amount of olive oil for 2 to 3 minutes. Add puree, paste and 1 1/2 puree cans of water.
    Brown turkey; use Pam or turkey will stick to pan.
    Drain and add turkey to sauce. Brown sausage; drain and add to sauce.
    Add bay leaves, basil and salt and pepper to taste.
    Cook for 2 hours.
