Hungarian Coffee Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. yeast
    1 c. warm milk
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    2 eggs, beaten
    1/4 c. shortening (melted)
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 c. melted butter
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    raisins
    additional chopped nuts
Preparation
    Soften yeast in the warm milk.
    Add 1/2 cup sugar and 1 1/2 cups flour.
    When bubbly add salt, beaten eggs, shortening and second amount of flour.
    Knead in enough flour so it is easy to handle.
    Let raise until double in bulk.
    Cut off pieces and dip first in melted butter and then in mixture of sugar, cinnamon and chopped nuts.
    Place one layer of balls in angel food cake pan until each barely touches the next.
    Fill in cracks with raisins and additional chopped nuts.
    Continue this way until all balls are placed in pan.
    Cover and let raise for 1 hour.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
    What sugar mixture is left may be sprinkled between layers of dough before baking.
