Butter Beans, Bacon And Tomatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 slices bacon, diced
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 small green pepper, chopped
    3 cloves garlic, minced
    1 bay leaf
    3 medium tomatoes, chopped
    4 c. chicken broth
    4 c. fresh or frozen butter beans
    2 Tbsp. minced parsley
    salt and pepper (to taste)
    1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1/2 tsp. Tabasco sauce
Preparation
    Saute first 5 ingredients. Stir in tomatoes and simmer 3 minutes. Stir in broth and butter beans. Bring to a boil and continue simmering covered for 30 minutes. Remove lid and simmer 20 minutes. Stir in remaining ingredients and cook additional 5 minutes.
    Good with rice!
