Frozen Chocolate Chip Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 or 3 egg whites
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Sift sugar, salt and cream of tartar together.
    Beat whites stiff, adding dry ingredients gradually while beating.
    Fold in vanilla and chopped pecans and place in greased pie plate.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Let cool.
