Killer Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. butter (2 sticks)
    1 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    1 (7 oz.) can diced, roasted green chilies
    1 1/4 c. creamed corn
    1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 c. yellow corn meal
    4 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 c. whole wheat flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 large egg
    3 Tbsp. light molasses or honey
    2 c. butter milk
    1 1/2 Tbsp. unsalted butter or margarine, melted
    1/2 c. walnuts, chopped
    1/2 c. dark seedless raisins
Preparation
    Grease a 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
    Heat oven to 400\u00b0.
    Mix flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
    Beat egg in a large bowl.
    Stir in buttermilk, molasses and butter.
    Stir in flour mixture.
    Mix in walnuts and raisins.
    Scrape batter into prepared pan and bake 50 to 60 minutes or until well browned.
    Remove from oven and place pan on wire rack to cool.
    Makes 1 loaf.
