Spanish Rice - cooking recipe
Ingredients

15 oz. extra lean ground beef or ground turkey
1 1/2 c. chopped onion
1 1/2 c. diced green pepper
3 c. stewed tomatoes (undrained)
1 c. uncooked brown rice
1 tsp. chili powder
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. salt (optional)
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 1/2 c. fat-skimmed beef broth
Preparation

Cook ground meat, onion and green pepper until meat is brown and vegetables are tender.
Drain on paper towel.
Return to skillet; add remaining ingredients and simmer 40 to 45 minutes or until rice is cooked.
Makes 6 servings.
