Baked Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 lb. lean beef stew meat
    4 large potatoes
    6 carrots
    1 c. celery
    1 onion
    2 tsp. salt
    2 c. canned tomatoes
    1 c. water
    3 Tbsp. tapioca
    1 tsp. sugar
    pepper to taste
Preparation
    Cut vegetables in serving pieces.
    Combine all ingredients in a roasting pan.
    Cover and bake at 300\u00b0 for 3 to 3 1/2 hours or until done.
    Can be baked at 250\u00b0 for 3 1/2 to 5 hours.
