Vegetable Medley - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. turnips, diced
    1/2 c. water
    1 c. green peas (fresh)
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. carrots, diced or sliced
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cook turnips and carrots for 10 minutes in boiling water with 1/2 teaspoon salt added.
    Add peas and cook until tender, about 5 to 7 minutes.
    Drain; season with butter or margarine.
    Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
