Chop Suey - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. pork
    1 lb. beef
    2 c. chopped celery
    1 large cut up onion
    1/2 tsp. salt
    4 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1 tsp. Fuji sauce (optional)
    1 Tbsp. bead molasses
    1 can drained bean sprouts
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
Preparation
    Cut pork and beef fine and brown slightly.
    Add celery and onion.
    Cover with water.
    Season with salt and simmer for about 45 minutes.
    Add soy sauce, Fuji sauce and molasses.
    Cook until meat is fork-tender.
    Then add bean sprouts just before thickening with 2 tablespoons cornstarch moistened in cold water.
