Taco Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef
    1 onion, finely chopped
    1 large garlic clove, diced
    1 pkg. taco seasoning mix (about 2 oz.)
    1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 c. water
    1 pkg. corn tortillas
    2 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Saute ground beef, onion and garlic in skillet until beef loses redness; drain fat.
    Add taco seasoning, tomato sauce and water; simmer for 3 to 5 minutes.
    In a 2-quart casserole, arrange alternate layers of tortillas, meat sauce and cheese.
    Bake in a 350\u00b0oven for 30 to 40 minutes.
    Serves 6 to 8.
