Chilled Spiced Cider - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 qt. apple juice or cider
    2 cinnamon sticks
    peel of 1 orange, cut in spiral
    8 whole cloves
Preparation
    In a large saucepan, combine apple juice or cider, cinnamon sticks and the orange peel, cut in a long spiral and stuffed with whole cloves.
    Bring to a boil.
    Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
    Let stand until cool.
    Skim froth and chill well.
    Makes about sixteen 4-ounce servings.
