Ines' Rum Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. fat
    1 c. sugar
    3 large eggs
    1 1/2 c. flour
    2/3 c. raisins, soaked with rum to cover
Preparation
    Combine fat and sugar; cream until very light.
    Add eggs; add flour.
    Fold in raisins and rum.
    Cook in loaf pan 1 hour at 350\u00b0. Check cake at 45 minutes.
    Bake until mix begins to pull away from the sides of pan and straw pushed into the center of the cake comes out clean.
    (Do not overbake.)
