Golden Crisp Brownies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. Honey Grahams cereal
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1/3 c. brown sugar, packed
1/3 c. butter, melted
2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
2 sq. unsweetened chocolate
1/3 c. Crisco
1 c. granulated sugar
3/4 c. all-purpose flour
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
Mix slightly crushed cereal, nuts, brown sugar, butter and 2 tablespoons of flour.
Pat into ungreased square baking pan (9 x 9 x 2-inch).
Heat chocolate and Crisco in 2-quart saucepan over low heat.
Stir in remaining ingredients. Spread over layer in pan.
Bake 30 to 35 minutes.
Loosen edges from pan.
Invert on wire rack.
Cool completely.
Cut into bars (about 2 x 1 1/2-inch).
Yields 24 bars.
