Fresh Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/4 c. Crisco oil
2 c. sugar
3 eggs, well beaten
3 c. tart diced apples
1 c. walnuts or pecans
3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Start in cold oven.
Mix together the oil, sugar, eggs, apples and nuts.
Sift flour, baking soda and salt into mixture.
Add vanilla.
Start in cold oven.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 60 to 80 minutes or until middle comes out clear.
