Ingredients

1 c. shortening
1/2 tsp. clear butter extract
1 tsp. vanilla
4 c. (1 lb.) confectioners sugar
2 Tbsp. evaporated milk
Preparation

Mix shortening and extract.
Add vanilla.
Gradually add sugar, one cup at a time, beating well on medium speed.
Scrape sides and bottom of bowl often.
Icing should appear dry.
