Rick'S Clam Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 12 oz. cans of chopped clams with juice
    1 tsp. black pepper
    6 large potatoes cut into large cubes
    1 pint of heavy cream
    1 c. chopped onion, minced
    1/2 c. chopped celery, minced
    1/2 tsp. minced garlic
    2 Tbsp. cooking oil
    2 Tbsp. clam base
    2 qt. of water
Preparation
    In large pot add minced onion, celery, salt, garlic, pepper and cooking oil.
    Stir and cook until onion is tender.
    Add potatoes and clam juice only, set clams aside.
    Add clam base and water, bring to a boil then simmer until potatoes are soft and tender.
