My Favorite Mexican Dish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. hamburger, browned
    3/4 c. chopped onion (opt.)
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 (10 oz.) can enchilada sauce
    1 can water
    1 lb. cheddar cheese, grated
    1 doz. Corn tortillas or 8 flour tortillas
Preparation
    Brown hamburger meat with onion in a large skillet; add liquid ingredients.
    Bring to a boil; remove from heat.
    In an ungreased large pan, add a layer of meat mixture, then a layer of tortillas, (cut in fourths), using all of tortillas; add a layer of grated cheese.
    Repeat in layers as above; top with grated cheese.
    Bake; serve with a green salad.
    Makes 8 servings.
