Marinated Vegies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    17 oz. white Shoe Peg corn, drained
    17 oz. peas, drained
    15 oz. French-style green beans, drained
    1/2 c. diced celery
    1/2 to 1 c. chopped onions
    1/2 c. chopped green pepper
    2 oz. chopped pimentos, drained
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt (optional)
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1/2 c. vegetable oil
    1/2 c. vinegar
Preparation
    Combine all vegetables, tossing lightly.
    Combine remaining ingredients in saucepan.
    Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally. Pour over vegetables.
    Cover and refrigerate 24 hours or overnight.
