Grandmother'S Rice Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs
    3 c. scalded milk
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. cooked rice
    raisins (if desired)
Preparation
    Beat eggs slightly; add sugar, salt and other ingredients except rice.
    Strain scalded milk and pour all ingredients in buttered casserole, then add the rice and stir.
    Place the casserole in a water bath and bake it at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
