End Of Garden Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sliced cucumbers
    1 c. sliced onion
    1 c. chopped sweet green pepper
    1 c. chopped cabbage
    1 c. chopped carrots
    1 c. chopped celery
    1 c. chopped green tomatoes
    1 c. chopped string beans
    2 Tbsp. mustard seed
    1 Tbsp. celery seed
    1 tsp. turmeric
    2 c. sugar
    2 c. vinegar
Preparation
    Soak cucumbers, tomatoes, cabbage, peppers and onions in 1/2 cup salt and two quarts of water overnight.
    Drain well.
    Cook carrots, beans and celery until tender.
    Drain well.
    Mix with remaining vegetables, mustard seed, celery seed, turmeric, sugar and vinegar; boil for 10 minutes.
    Pack in sterile jars and seal.
